New York Knicks’ Chris Duhon’s Stand Tall Foundation Rings the NASDAQ Stock Market Closing Bell
Chris Duhon, point guard for the New York Knicks, presided over the NASDAQ Closing Bell March 5th to raise awareness for Chris Duhon’s Stand Tall Foundation, a charitable organization committed to building up children who are the foundation of our communities.
The Stand Tall Foundation was formed in 1998 as a Vin Baker charitable organization. Chris Duhon’s Hurricane Relief Fund became a chapter of the foundation to support his efforts in providing aid to his hometown of Slidell, Louisiana, which was devastated by Hurricane Katrina in August 2005.
Chris gave new life to the foundation and formed the Chris Duhon’s Stand Tall Foundation in 2007. Today the foundation continues to expand it’s reach and programs, and Mitre proudly remains their agency partner.
